When work moves between sessions, tools and projects, the next conversation can start with a familiar problem: reconstructing what has already happened. WatsonOS and CHIE approach that problem from two connected directions. One coordinates work; the other explores how knowledge can remain reviewable.

Together they reflect a practical requirement: an agent should be able to carry context forward without asking a person to accept every remembered statement as fact.

WatsonOS includes a briefing pipeline that gathers project state, prepares a narrative and checks for drift. Its memory components distinguish principal and entity stores and connect writes with reconciliation and audit records.

A staged voice-capture workflow takes an input through triage, its relationship to existing knowledge, a considered response and a proposed action. The sequence gives a passing thought a route into organised work, with enough context for someone to pick it up again.

CHIE explores a local desktop knowledge environment. Retrieval and search distinguish supported claims, guesses and unresolved material, with references that give someone a route back to the evidence. Confirmation has its own ownership and pending-state checks.

The systems remain in active development, including further integration work. Their shared direction is assistance that people can inspect: a useful account of what is remembered, where it came from and which decisions still need their attention.
