Wheelhouse

The Wheelhouse supplied wordmark and circular symbolStrategy & interactive prototype

Help the right people find their next place to work.

A growth-focused website strategy and interactive prototype for coworking, meeting rooms and registered addresses, shaped around the journey from discovery to enquiry.

01 / The business behind the work

A desk, a meeting room or a business address?

The Wheelhouse serves people with different reasons to visit: a freelancer looking for somewhere to work, a team arranging a meeting, a business needing a registered address, or a property owner exploring a partnership. A useful website needs to recognise those differences without making the visitor learn the organisation’s structure.

BTR’s work connects the commercial direction to the website journey. Product choice, location discovery, mobile use and clear venue information inform the page hierarchy and the route towards a booking or enquiry.

02 / The work in practice

Let the place do some of the talking.

The design work considers photography, galleries, facilities and neighbourhood information alongside product and location filters. The intention is to help someone understand what a space offers and whether it fits their day before asking them to take the next step.

An interactive prototype explores a persistent desktop booking panel and a mobile booking sheet. It demonstrates how preferences can travel into a booking handoff, while leaving the operational reservation system as a separate integration.

How the pieces connect

From finding a space to taking the next step.

Explanatory workflow
  1. 01

    Choose the need

A place to work, a room to meet or an address for the business.

  2. 02

    Find the fit

Location, photographs and useful details about the venue.

  3. 03

    Take the next step

A proposed route into the appropriate booking or enquiry.

A simplified explanation of the work. This is not an application screen or a depiction of customer records.

Access & accountability

Where control matters.

The marketing website and the booking system keep distinct roles. A demonstrated handoff is labelled as a prototype rather than presented as a confirmed reservation.

The commercial purpose

Why it is worth building.

Help prospective customers find a relevant space and reach the right enquiry. Growth is the goal of the work; conversion results have not been measured.
